My daughter's best friend and loving companion of 11 years fought a long battle with congestive heart failure and more recently kidney failure.
We will miss you COMET!

    Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about your dog. It sounds like he was well loved and had a great k-9 life.

    I'm so very sorry for your loss. We have always had dogs and cats. It is so hard when it is time for them to leave us. Hugs to you and your daughter.

    I'm so sorry about your dear Comet. When we lost our dog, Sushi, last year, our vet gave us a copy of this poem, At Rainbow Bridge. It did make me cry, but it is certainly hopeful. I posted it to my blog in hopes it will bring comfort to some. It may be a little hard to read, but it will give some hope.     I'm so sorry about your Comet. We lost our Maggie a year ago. It's so difficult losing a member of your family.
